We keep cookies to a minimum: what we need to run the site and your account, plus optional, privacy-friendly analytics.
1. What cookies are
Cookies are small text files a website stores in your browser. Similar technologies include local storage and pixels. We use them on slerpr.app to keep you signed in, remember your preferences and understand how the site is used. This policy applies to our website; the Slerpr iOS app does not use browser cookies.
2. Cookies we use
| Type | Purpose | Can you turn it off? |
|---|---|---|
| Strictly necessary | Sign-in sessions, security (for example, preventing forged requests) and load balancing. | No — the site and your account won't work without them. |
| Preferences | Remember choices such as dismissed notices and “keep me signed in.” | Yes, through your browser settings. |
| Analytics | Aggregate, privacy-friendly statistics about which pages are visited so we can improve the site. We do not use them to build advertising profiles. | Yes. We only set them where permitted by law or with your consent. |
3. No advertising cookies
We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies, and we do not sell or share your personal information for targeted advertising.
4. Third-party services
Some pages load resources from third parties — for example, web fonts from Google Fonts — which may receive your IP address and browser information as part of delivering that content. Their use of that information is governed by their own privacy policies.
5. Managing cookies
Most browsers let you block or delete cookies in their settings. Blocking strictly necessary cookies will stop you from signing in. Your browser's “Do Not Track” and Global Privacy Control signals are honored where required by law.
6. Questions
